On a bright Monday morning, 2 October, our CEO, Tim Thyssen, made his appearance in the enchanting city of Paris, and what followed was a day steeped in inspiration and discovery.

The first highlight was an intriguing visit to the Data Centre in Meudon. Under the guidance of our able Supervisor, El Hadji Tall, we were taken on a journey through this fascinating construction site, with our dedicated day crew playing the lead role. What made this visit extra special was the fact that our work here does not stop at sunset.

Our solutions are also implemented at night. This allows us to react at lightning speed to the events of the day, resulting in the rapid completion of spaces. But why does this matter? A data centre consists of individual rooms that can be commissioned immediately, regardless of the final completion of the building. Once a space is ready, it can be immediately rented out for data storage. A smart move to take our ROI to unprecedented heights.

This visit also brought fascinating meetings, ranging from the Plant Manager to the Safety Coordinator, as well as our esteemed fellow installers on site. And did you know that we will soon shine at Data Center World in Paris (15, 16 November) and Data Center Ireland (22, 23 November)? Our thanks go to El Hadji Tall for this engaging morning!

After an exciting morning, we made our way to the vibrant heart of Paris in the afternoon. Here, in the enchanting Expo Halls of Porte De Versailles, the AFTES fair unfolded, a magical gathering for anyone with a passion for tunnels and substations. It is inspiring to realise our profound impact at the Belgian level. Admirable how Denys shared his impressive references and knowledge, and let’s not forget the glowing contributions from Heinen Doors and Promat/ETEX.

With our impressive portfolio of tunnel projects, we will continue to follow this industry closely, hoping to realise even more groundbreaking projects with our talented teams.

Be prepared, the best is yet to come.
Heartwarming greetings,

Team KBS-Systems
